Manual osteopathy is a form of alternative medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders and related conditions. It involves hands-on techniques such as massage, stretching, joint mobilization, and manipulation to restore proper function and alignment of the body's musculoskeletal system.

Practitioners of manual osteopathy, known as manual osteopaths, believe that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself and that disruptions in the musculoskeletal system can lead to various health issues. By using manual techniques to address these disruptions, manual osteopaths aim to promote overall health and well-being.

Manual osteopathy is often used to treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain, headaches, and sports injuries. It is based on principles derived from osteopathic medicine, which originated in the late 19th century with the work of Andrew Taylor Still.

It's important to note that while manual osteopathy may provide relief for some individuals, its effectiveness and safety may vary, and it should not be used as a substitute for conventional medical care when needed. As with any form of alternative medicine, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before undergoing treatment.

My name is Ricki Cline, I grew up in a small town in southern Manitoba. We moved to the outskirts of Carberry in 2019 where we continue to raise our family.  I share my life with my husband Chris, who is my rock and my 2 children, Paisley and Leighton. Health care has always been something that has intrigued me. I enjoy helping people by trying to better their life in some way weather it be by suggesting recommendations, or more recently being able to change peoples lives in a physical way. After years of being a dental assistant I decided I needed to find something more fulfilling. Osteopathy came across my path and I was highly intrigued. I had never experienced something with such lasting effects. After a few months of contemplating I decided to jump in with 2 feet and go back to school. After a very heavy year of working full time, being a full time student, full time mom and wife and everything in between I couldn’t be more excited to be one of Manitoba’s newest Manual Osteopaths. I am excited to offer this treatment to the public as its not a common practice. I have always been high on body maintenance but I had never found anything that seemed to work, until I experienced osteo. After my first treatment I was hooked, a lot of my personal body issues have disappeared after 1 treatment and continue to stay away with maintenance appointments. I owe so much of my training to my mentor, as she has paved the road and shown me the way. It has been so exciting to be able to help the people that I’ve worked on up to now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all those who’ve come and given me their time to allow me to practice my techniques on them.  I am thrilled to be offering this service to the public, I’m excited to help you with all your aches and pains!
